About Wildlife SOS India Foundation

Three Decades. Thousands of Lives. One Mission.

Wildlife SOS India Foundation has spent 30 years rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting India's most vulnerable wildlife. We ended the centuries-old cruel tradition of dancing bears - liberating over 600 sloth bears from the streets of India and established India's first elephant hospital. Our work is rooted in compassion, science, and community.

Today, we operate rescue centres across India, home to sloth bears, elephants, leopards, and more every one of them rescued from abuse, captivity, or conflict.
